With a 100% environmental approach, we contribute to nature by recycling an average of 3000 tons of textile waste annually in regenerated yarn production. Gülçağ Tekstil established Tekdamla Marketing Company in order to expand its export market and reached an important point in the market and started to export especially to the European continent in serious numbers. Recycling is the process of recycling waste, especially urban waste, which can be recycled, through various processes and reintroduced into the production sectors.

The general purpose of recycling is to prevent the depletion of resources and reduce the amount of urban waste. Today, there are countries in the world that have established systems with this awareness and are able to recycle 90% of their garbage waste.

The recycled fiber used in our industry is obtained from household waste, waste from yarn production facilities and recycling of waste generated during the cutting of fabrics that return to the final product.

Unfortunately, 95% of urban waste in our country is disposed of by primitive methods such as incineration or landfilling.

Today, 11 tons of water is needed to produce one kilogram of cotton in agricultural areas. With the recycling process, we save 11 tons of water with 1 kg of yarn production. 130 liters of water is used to dye 1 kilogram of yarn. In addition to the tons of water used for cotton production, which is a human need, various chemicals are used for pesticides, productivity and diseases. Most of these chemicals enter the air and soil. The cotton used to produce a T-shirt requires 150 grams of harmful chemicals in the production process.

Gülçağ Tekstil produces 48 million kilograms of recycled yarn annually, preventing harmful chemicals from polluting agricultural areas, polluting groundwater and air pollution.
